So, beginning our course of Chapter 1, we will be discussing how to install Android Studio.We have plans to make our tutorials very simple and simple English, so that our future developers can easily learn Android coding.  This procedure is for Windows 7 and same can be used for Windows 10 as well.



Before we get started, please install JDK(Java Development Kit) on to your PC. We need this to install Android Studio, you can install it from the link given Install JDK, or you can skip this if you have already installed it.

Steps to Install Android Studio:

Step 1: Download new version of Android Studio from Android developers site. You can use this link to download it Download Android Studio.
Step 2: Launch the .exe file that you have been downloaded
Step 3: Follow the instruction on the setup wizard to install.
Step 4: If asked to point where the Java is, You have to setup an environment variable in order to direct the installer to the perfect location, To do that, Select Start->Computer->Properties->Advanced system settings->Environment variables->New. Variable name is JAVA_HOME and Variable path is the path where the JDK is installed. For ex(C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.7.0_75\bin).
